Sri Navadwipa Mandala Parikrama 2020 – 30th anniversary

Sri Gauranga Mahaprabhu ki jay!!

The most transcendental outdoors in the remote place of Sri Navadwipa is better experienced when we just stay in the camp for 8 days without coming back!

For the last 30 years with the help of HH Lokanatha Swami Maharaj, ISKCON Mayapur management organised an incredible system of serving those who come visit Mayapur to attend the Parikrama. Before the year 1990 the devotees used to come back to ISKCON Mayapur at the end of every day. It was a big step for the acceptance of a huge amount of devotees to start camping in the 9 islands!

It is a big function of bringing Prasada with trucks and have the various tents, bathrooms and everything organised to support the crowd of at least ten thousand pilgrims!

But we don’t stop there! By staying in the camp the devotees are invited to attend a very enthusiastic sandhya arati every evening, special classes by gurus and sanyasis where they can really go deeply on their comprehension of Mahaprabhu’s lila. And apart from that, an open session of questions and answers held every day by different authorities in the Navadwipa Mandala!

Since we are staying in our own ISKCON land in each island our facilities are improving each year. You will be proud to know and see with your own eyes the incredible devotional service of HH Jayapataka Swami and ISKCON Mayapur management to secure the sacred lands not being polluted by non devotional activities.

Our booklet is a guide with all information you need to know about how to camp in Sri Navadwipa Mandala Parikrama.

The price of the staying in camp is included in the fees. But if you don’t want to stay in the camp, you can stay in one of the ISKCON Mayapur Guesthouses for which you need to book and pay separately. If you don’t stay in the camp, the Parikrama fees will be the same. ISKCON Mayapur has five guest houses with varieties of rooms: standard, deluxe, super delux, a/c rooms, and dormitories to accommodate the pilgrims and visitors to Mayapur.
